For several years my wife has been suffering from brain trauma caused by two spells of hydrocephalus. As her condition worsened, and practical medications gleaned no relief for her, we eventually sought alternative methods of healing. One of her current doctors urged her to draw as a means of helping the brain mend itself. Although I never had any major issues with my brain that I was aware of, my wife encouraged me to practice the therapy myself, as she was showing great benefits from it, and thought that it would help me in my every day life. One of the things her doctor told her to do was write and draw with both hands simultaneously, as it would encourage the two hemispheres of the brain to communicate more efficiently. I have been doing this since October of last year, and the image I have created here was done as such. Over the course of this exercise I have always let my subconscious guide my hands to draw, without pre planning what I am going to put on paper, which was also something her doctor had told her to do. I've found by doing this, that the pictures that come through always seem to represent the brain and the body in some way, shape, or form.
